As our community prepares for the start of the 2023-2024 school year, the Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Committee (JCRC) is starting a Parent Advisory Committee to support Jewish students and their families in Washtenaw County public and private schools, and to make sure their interests are represented in those schools. This includes addressing incidences of antisemitism and serving as a resource to reduce hateful rhetoric and actions.
As a first step in forming this Committee, please join us for a Parents Town Hall to discuss the current climate of Washtenaw County public/private schools, parent and student experiences, fall programming and next steps.
This meeting is intended for parents and guardians of current Jewish school-aged children.
