Earlier this winter, NEXTGen of Greater Ann Arbor partnered with University of Michigan Hillel’s JGrad group to host a MEGA Shabbat dinner for the 20s- and 30s-aged Jewish community of the Ann Arbor area.
Over 100 attendees joined, representing a variety of partner groups, including Maize and Jew (from the Ross Business School), the Jewish Medical Student Association, the Jewish Communal Leadership Program, and the Jewish Law Student Association. Attendees participated in a “speed schmooze” to meet new friends and celebrated the national Shabbat of Love initiative together.
2024 was NEXTGen A2’s second annual MEGA Shabbat. The group has high hopes to continue the tradition for many years to come.
