The Jewish community of greater Ann Arbor is organizing a community trip to Israel over winter break 2025-2026. An “inspiration and information” session about the trip will take place at the JCC of Greater Ann Arbor on October 10th at 7pm. This trip prioritizes safety and will go forth in the safest conditions, giving up neither meaningful learning experiences nor fun for the entire family.
Israel is changing: war and aspirations of peace, political struggles over religious practices, judicial reform and control over the West Bank, human rights, and much more. It’s possible to read about these topics in the news, but how many Americans have personally met with Israeli activists, seen the places from the headlines, or heard firsthand accounts of the realities of life there? All of us, even the savviest Israel travelers, have a lot to learn, as well as to teach: our children and grandchildren.
Our community trip is intentionally designed for the Ann Arbor Jewish community by Ann Arbor Rabbis, educators and travel professionals. It is a bespoke trip for our community members of all ages, 9-99.
