Judith Heidebrink, MD, MS is a clinical professor of neurology at the University of Michigan. Her undergraduate degree is from Iowa State University of Science and Technology. Her medical degree comes from the University of Texas Southwestern. At the University of Michigan, she has completed residency training in neurology, a fellowship in geriatric neurology, and an MS in clinical research design and statistical analysis. She joined the U-M faculty in 1995 and was appointed the Richard D. and Katherine M. O’Connor Research Professor of Alzheimer Disease in 2013. She is an expert on the science and treatment of Alzheimer disease.
Brian Callaghan, MD, MS is an associate professor of neurology at the University of Michigan. After taking a BS from the University of Michigan, he completed medical studies and neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He returned to the University of Michigan for fellowships in neuromuscular diseases and health care policy and an MS in clinical research design and statistical analysis. Since 2009, he has been a member of the U-M faculty, directing the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Clinic, serving as associate program director of research, and guiding many clinical trials. Among his many academic interests is the appropriate deployment of medications for neurologic illness.
