The night will feature Aaron Dworkin: Poetjournalist, Author, Founder of the Sphinx Organization, Founder of the Institute for Poetjournalism, and Professor of Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan.

Second Annual Pillar Award: Jonathan Trobe & Joan Lowenstein

The Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor works to build a vibrant, welcoming, inclusive, secure and sustainable Jewish community in greater Ann Arbor, Israel, and around the world.

This year, we will honor Jonathan Trobe and Joan Lowenstein with the Federation’s second annual Pillar Award. The Pillar Award recognizes volunteer contributions to the community related to the Federation’s three pillars: Philanthropy, Engagement, and Convening.

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Pre-Glow
Appetizers and intimate book signing opportunity with Aaron Dworkin for Major ($5,000+), Ben Gurion Society ($1,000+ under the age of 40), Legacy & Sustaining donors, as well as Corporate Sponsors and Pre-Glow Ticket Purchasers.

6:30pm: Reception begins
Enjoy light appetizers, dessert, and plenty of schmoozing. Food is kosher under supervision of the Detroit Vaad.

7pm: Zoom opens for informal virtual schmoozing

7:30pm: Seated program & Zoom live stream begin

9 – 9:30pm: Informal schmoozing both in-person and on Zoom
