About speakers Noa and Shay, 2pm
Shay and Noa, two young Israelis, lived outstanding lives before October 7th.
Each of them comes from a different path in life, both are extensive travelers who were fortunate to meet various international crowds and promote meaningful causes. October 7th shifted that for them.
On October 7th, Noa’s lifelong best friend, Ziv Berman, and his twin brother, Gali Berman, were kidnapped from their homes at Kibbutz Kfar Aza and taken hostage in Gaza by Hamas. Their fate remains unknown. Noa, one of the last people to speak with Ziv before the attack, has since become a key member of the Hostage Family Forum.
Shay was pulled out of his regular life, rushing for the rescue on the day of the attack, and serving extensive tours in the Gaza war as a reservist of an elite IDF unit since then.
Both will be joining us, here in Ann Arbor, to share their stories, and the stories of those who cannot share – the fallen and the kidnapped.
