Simchat Torah is a time for celebrating the end and beginning again of the Torah reading cycle. We read a few verses from the conclusion of Deuteronomy and then roll all the way back to B’reishit. A fun tradition amongst Reform Jewish congregations is to unroll the Torah so we can see almost the entire year laid out before us and acknowledge some of the bigger moments.
This year, rather than take a visual tour of the Torah, we are going sing our way through our journey from creation to standing on the precipice of the Land and back to creation with Guest Musical Artist Dan Nichols.
Underwritten by the Melvin and Lois Levy Endowment.
Please register for in-person seating by Thursday, October 5.
In person and via Zoom.
