To better protect our Jewish community, the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor has partnered with Jewish Community Security Inc. (JCSI) to help manage security programs in our community. This partnership was made possible by the LiveSecure Initiative of Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), with additional financial support from the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Foundation and many generous donors.
In May 2023, Shane Dennis became the first Community Security Manager for the greater Ann Arbor Jewish community.
About our partners at JCSI
Jewish Community Security, Inc. (JCSI) was established to ensure the safety and security of the metropolitan Detroit Jewish community, and now the greater Ann Arbor area.
Members of the JCSI security team have been working to keep the Detroit Jewish Community safe since 2006. Their highly trained and experienced officers are stationed at Jewish schools, summer camps, and communal buildings throughout the community. JCSI collaborates with local and national law enforcement, as well as the Secure Community Network (SCN) and Jewish community security programs across the region.
