To better protect our Jewish community, the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor has partnered with Jewish Community Security Inc. (JCSI) to help manage security programs in our community. Shane Dennis is our Community Security Manager. This partnership was made possible by Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) LiveSecure Grant with additional financial support from the D. Dan and Betty Kahn Foundation and many generous donors.
Jewish Community Security, Inc. (JCSI) was established to ensure the safety and security of the metropolitan Detroit Jewish community, and now the greater Ann Arbor area.
Members of our security team have been working to keep the Detroit Jewish Community safe since 2006. Our highly trained and experienced officers are stationed at Jewish Day Schools, summer camps, campuses and buildings throughout the community. JCSI collaborates with local and national law enforcement entities as well as the Secure Community Network (SCN) and Jewish community security programs across the region.
Our team assists Jewish institutions across the community by providing consultation, education, and training to instill a culture of vigilance and safety.
The safety and well-being of the metro Detroit and greater Ann Arbor Jewish Community is our number one priority.
