Women supporting women. This is the theme of Women’s Philanthropy at the Federation. And right now, more than ever, those connections are so important. Being able to come together as a community to provide comfort and dialogue is empowering.
Women’s Philanthropy has brought together groups of women throughout the fall for various opportunities. Women of the Lions and Pomegranate Societies gathered at the Embracing our Differences Exhibit in Gallup Park. The exhibit uses the power of art and education to expand consciousness and open the heart to celebrate diversity of the human family. The afternoon was followed by tea and treats, overlooking the beautiful Huron River, while women continued their engaged conversations about supporting Israel and our community.
Ladies’ Night Out continues to be a source of community and connection, bringing together women for an evening of conversation and networking. This group meets bi-monthly at community venues and offers a chance to meet new friends, socialize and support one another.
